Our winemaking process
OJOY fine dealcoholized wine starts as 100% authentic California wine. Unlike regular wine, we take things a step further by gently removing the alcohol using cutting-edge dealcoholization technology. Our NA wine making process results in remarkably great tasting wine with less than 0.5% alcohol by volume.

What is dealcoholized wine, anyway?
People often use NA wine, non-alcoholic wine, alcohol-removed wine, and dealcoholized wine interchangeably. Here are some important distinctions between them:
Dealcoholized wine, sometimes called alcohol-removed wine, begins as standard wine, then undergoes a process of dealcoholization which lowers the alcohol content, usually to less than 0.5% abv. The FDA recognizes dealcoholized and alcohol-removed wines as a sub-type of wine. Basically, it’s like regular wine, only better.
Non-alcoholic wine or NA wine does not begin as standard wine, instead it relies on a non-alcoholic base like juice or tea and builds further by adding ingredients. The FDA recognizes non-alcoholic wine and NA wines as beverages, not wine. These can be great for people who want an option with less alcohol, yet they are not truly wine.
